The time has come again for Asian Club’s biggest event, haha. I wasn’t really part of much this year, but yeah! It felt pretty rushed and stuff, as usual, but being the awesome group of people we are, we managed to pull through. This year was too busy with the AP exam, quizzes/tests, projects, and tennis for me to be a bigger part in the show.

So after school, I went to the auditorium, ran to Mr. Burke’s class to get scissors for Amanda and the girl’s crafting crew to make Anthony, Jeremy Lin’s jersey. Haha, it turned out really good :), I’m too lazy to upload pictures and stuff, so this will just be a text post xD. My second job was to run to Ms. Bulso to get masking tape for the Da Woo(?). Then, we decided on transitions, I did one for Jamie’s song with Duc, and another one for Tank with Derp! Both went something like this:
Jamie:

y: Uh… No thanks…
x: PLEASE!
y: No….
x: Come onnn
y: -walks away-
We had no microphone that time, so it was really awkward, and I’m awkward, so you get the picture, haha.
Tank:
y: Yoo, I need some help
x: W’sup?
y: I need to find a date for prom!
x: ‘Aite, don’t worry, I gotchu, I know just the guy.
     His name’s TAAAAAANK
y: OH FO’REAL? Can we go meet him?
x: Ya man, leggo.
This one was awkward too ;-;, god I suck at MC’ing.

But yeah, Tin dropped me off at my house to get ETC for the show, I grabbed my straightener, adidas slippers, changed into a new shirt, Asian Club shirt, and flip flops. Then he picked me up again, I plucked a flower off my tree thingy, so I could propose to Eric, NAH’MEAN ;)? But I just ended up giving everyone a flower to put in their hair, haha. Briana gave me some coffee on the ride back to the high school, mm mm GOOD! :D

Practiced my transition with Derp for modern and Theresa for traditional. Me and Derp decided on plaid shirts and jean short shorts and vans. Our opening was walking in, meeting in the middle, walking to the front, high-five then hug, walk to the side, point at each other, go back in the middle, hook arms, walk back, and make a heart with our arms, so derpy :), like us! And then with Theresa was Ao Dais. Walking in with twirling umbrellas and meeting in the middle, walk to the middle, then the side, with the umbrellas over our shoulders, and then middle, a side hand thingy, a blow-kiss to the audience, holding hands, and walking back. BANG.

Before the show started,(I straightened like 5+ girls’ hair, haha) me and Amanda set up the food area for people to come in and get food. Then everyone in Asian Club got together and ate. Then finally, two nice guys who had cars picked up the food for us. Set up the food, everyone was stationed somewhere, something like an assembly line. I was at the end of the line— the drinks station/fortune cookies.
At first I poured 4 cups of each: water, orange soda, fruit punch, and lemon lime!
Then a lot of people started coming in and I was getting pretty overwhelmed, luckily my sidekick, David, helped me throughout the whole thing, we barely got resting time! I even had to run into the school’s kitchen/fridge area to get more because we ran out :). It was fun doing the drinks, haha! I didn’t mind at all :).

Finally, the cafe was clearing, and the show was about to be on the road.
First skit up was the Moon Cake skit, I was one of the extras who received a moon cake. We had to go through the back door and run back by the auditorium exits. Both lines of people ran down the aisle and bombarded the stage to “kill” the drunken generals of China. After that the Hype Beast skit, Elvira/Vivian’s dances, Boy’s Generation/Wonder boys dances :P. The superior intellect, Jamie’s songs, the Barber shop, Tank. I didn’t get to see much of it, because my time was mostly spent running around backstage and changing, etc.

But I saw the skits near the end, I saw Forbes martial arts thing, the Childhood skit was by far the cute-est! With Tiffany as Spider-man, Eric as Goku, Chapman as Ash Kectchum, Charlie as a pokemon(jigglypuff?), Frye as Barney, and Brian as the red power ranger.
The most put-together one was the traditional zombie skit! Basically, Chapman and Brian was eating at Fo So One and then the waiter and people turn into Zombies, they call Eric and Frye for help, but they all died because Eric brought his lunch bag instead of the emergency zombie apocalypse bag. Then Forbes go out to battle the zombies but gets overwhelmed, then the whole Asian Club goes out as zombies, somehow we all fell on our tummy and then when Forbes hit the ground or something then we flip onto our back. And then on cue, we all rose up and attacked the people still alive, and then we all freeze and “To Be Continued,” as another storyline for next year!

Bwuahah, :), love that tradition. We did the raffle tickets in the end because we didn’t have time during intermission. And then as usual, we thanked Ms. Rea and everyone for coming out!

Went in Lecture Hall 1, aka our changing room and watched Jason’s head get shaved off, AHAHAHA. but yeah, said my good-byes, gave out the hugs, and Thuong came to pick me up with Marc. She treated me and him to Pho, I got Pho Tai Bo Vien and a taro boba. Thanks sissy, came home and knocked out after reading :)!

Lazy Sunday, did absolutely NOTHING productive. Shake my fucking head. Played League all day, lmao. :D! And Love Rain is really slow, jesus but everyone says it gets a lot better, so yeah. Sleep deprived, ohoho. I don’t know, forgot to blog it so now it’s Monday, don’t recall anything. Just remember at like 1am, I ate ramen, tempura seaweed, and an apple! Nom nom. Meh, no sleep. Fucking tired as shit. Bombed Spanish, History was boring, Sculpture, Chemistry was upsetting, got a 50 on my test, HAHHA, not sure if I like this acid/base thing. English super meh. Stats, meh, HAT MEHHHHHHHH. I really don’t feel like blogging about classes anymore because it’s really the same shit. Wanted to go to NQHS so badly, but no one else wanted to go and I didn’t wanna be alone. And it was only varsity playing, so there was no point in my presence. Doris was going to buy me sushi and boba too :(, and see destinee/simon/cindy, maybe Julie. All the plans ruined :’(. Fuck you, rain. So, just went to Chem after school, talked to Ms. Bulso and Lisa and people. Haha, then the HH, TT, AK, and me walked to Randolph Eye, I stopped by the Turner Library to pee and get Mockingjay. Got a rodeo and some onion rings at BK, waited for the bus, we were all going to do a good deed for this man who had no money for the bus, then Amanda got to it first, then this lady gave her a dollar back. :), good stuff. Then we walked to RCMS from the bus stop, stopped by the corner store for some Brisk. Got there and watched the boys play. By the time Brian had a really good start, it started pouring, haha. We all got soaked, got on the bus from NQHS and they were all like party in Quincy, nice guys! Then just stood by the trees with everyone for shelter from the rain, everyone was wet. Then at one point I just took off my hoodie and went on the courts, wanting to play but not tryna fall so just stood on the side. Theresa dropped me off and now I’m derping.

Honestly, barely remember what went on… It’s Thursday now. So lemme try to recall… Hmm, had sculpture first, just painting really. Then Stats, more brainstorming :D, finally got an idea. More Trig stuff. Chem sub, Eng meh, Spanish sub, open cirlcle in history. Last match of the season that JV can participate, barely played with Derp, kinda and I was so poopie after four days of not playing. Shooot, started a dubs with Helen and we had to stop at 30-15, haha :P. Went home around 7, exhausted. Fed myself and took a shower and now I feel like a shaved guinea pig cos yeah. Tired as shit, finished Letter of Intent for stats and did English homework. Semi-proud of myself about stats :)!

May 24, 2012 Thursday
Today was a relief, Spanish project done and Stats letter of intent aka project idea done. Got DD’s with Theresa in the morning, small coffee coolatta and three doughnuts, hehe. NHS recycling with Charles, Sam, and Helen. Went to the nurse to pout the cookie dough in the fridge. Went to first period after homeroom. Ran an errand for Mr. Mahoney, got a list of homerooms from the guidance secretary. Worked on some Trig during Stats, because we didn’t have to do much. Spanish sub again, just took notes, listened to some music and then did some more Trig. Chemistry was meh, learned titration or whatever. English was alright, had to write an SAT kinda prompt, finished early so I did my chemistry homework. Lunch was aite, and History was some debate thing or whatever that I pretty much spaced out the whole time. Sculpture was so much more quiet without some of the annoying seniors. Day was over. Was guna go to HAT but then Mr. Mahoney dipped real fast for Randies. Rest of my day will be in a separate post!

May 25, 2012 Friday
Mehh, it’s actually midnight of the 27th, but whatever. Blog ‘bout my Friday. It was pretty swell. Had HAT in the morning, Spanish sub again, just did HAT work, History— can’t even remember, Chemistry— lab about turning a solution pink or s/t with NaOH, English— work sheet and discussion, sculpture was kinda annoying. Was asking her about permission to go do my project, and then got shut down. And she was totally  being irritatingly stubborn about my randomization process. God, =.= she would NOT listen to me— a stats student, about what “randomizing” is. Please, stop acting like you know everything. Sometimes, I find it weird that you’re an adult but you socialize and gossip with us teenagers like you’re one of us. Meh, to everyone else it’s whatever, but I find that a little awkward. Stats, was really just discussion of a project and then watching a video showing us the graph between longevity and income of countries all around the world. The end! After school was Asian Club, which I’ll blog about more in another post.

Bittersweet end of tennis season 2012 spring :).
I’ll miss all the seniors and playing as well.
Hopefully, next year I can be more committed to it.
As well as improving myself into a full-rounded player.

Tonight was a good night with everyone.

So today in Stats, we were all hung up on looking for project ideas, so Mr. Mahoney ended up googling that phrase, and then this showed up as one of the first ten choices,

Haha, I thought it was hilarious because Maple Story was basically my childhood. And it sparked an idea for my project!

My idea has something to do with lemonade :)! At first, I thought, is there a preference between homemade lemonade or the store mix one or like simply lemonade— a brand. But then it was too similar to this other girl a few years back who did a project about brownies— homemade/store bought. So Charlotte helped me alter it, to make it more original(kinda).

So I ended up with something along the lines of, “Is there a difference in cheaper brand or more expensive brand of lemonade?”, basically my question or thought is Are you paying more for better taste? Or is it just a fluke to get your money.

I think it’s a good idea :D! Well, it sounds fun/simpler to do than the other things I was thinking of. Gotta get the list of homerooms, ask the teachers if they’re okay with me going to their class in block 3 and block 6, and then if they are mark them down, etc, etc.

Ask the students if they want to be in my sample :3, etc,etc sdgfafds, I’m excited! :D
